Again it's objective fact that only after invasion of Iraq the Iraq started to flourish thanks to America investing in their infrastructure. @missesCarmenB ruzzia lost major defensive line that was vital for holding crimea. Things you mentioned have no strategic value and can easily be retaken. Taking over crimea and destroying the bridge has higher priority because that was the original grand strategy of Ruzzia. To control crimea and east okraine for acccess to ocean and oil/gas.
