@nocause5395 You don't need to be millionaire in order to not be a "loser". Getting life together doesn't mean of becoming super successful rich person. You have no logical reason to state why people can't get their life together. Personally I managed to put my life together and never needed college degree for that. In fact now I earn more than my friends in school who went to college. As long as person is naturally talented then they can easily get their life fixed even in their later years.

FuckOuttaHere Depends what they are trying to do. Becoming top athlete in your 40's would be too late. Becoming manager, doctor, engineer, lawyer etc.... in your 40's isn't too late. In fact for manager and product owner's roles age and lifetime of experience in many fields is actually paying off pretty well.

@nocause5395 Actually this is precisely the time when talented people rise up. Chaotic times are opportunities to rise up. This is even more true in IT area right now where the demand has been on rise. I have personally rose up in the ranks pretty fast thanks to the past 3-years.

@gr0mit948 In my country we have saying "seura tekee kaltaisekseen" which roughly translate that you will mimic your companions. This is why it's vital to choose what sort of people were having as our friends. Dan Pena also said that "show me your friends and I'll show your future". As harsh as it sounds it's true. Getting rid of addicts whatever they are drug addicts or alcoholics and other time wasters from your life will help you to turn better leaf.

Getting some hobbies to fill you weekends is a good idea. Personally I noticed that dancing is a good hobby for that. In dancing circles at parties there is no need to drink alcohol to socialize with others and there is less social pressure to even drink. Since easy way to break ice is just to ask girl for dance in those circles. Try bachata or salsa for that. I found it surprisingly refreshing to go to parties where no one drank or there was no social pressure to drink. Which is a big thing in my country since normally we always drink in social events.

@nocause5395 Statistically most people are lazy and submissive so they never bother to turn their life around. Also statistically speaking at least in the west, most people are doing well. You're acting as if most people in their 40's are unemployed and suffering.

@nocause5395 Most people don't work at multiple jobs. Where are you getting this non-sense from? Are you a kid or something? Actually that would explain a lot. The video itself had a guy there who worked in minimum wage jobs. And you're talking to guy who lived in poverty most of the time in his life and now is in upper-middle class. All you throw is some sad excuses why people shouldn't put any effort to make better of themselves. You're very toxic person. People like you have habit of ensuring that other people near you stay in misery in their whole life.
