  9. ​ @kristoffer3000  GDR suffered from huge issue of poverty and constant shortages. They left socialism for a good reason. They saw that things were better in west germany. "khina" You mean the same country that demands that it should be treated as third world country in other to get international support moneys and avoid some international laws regarding to pollution. That country is poor and so are the people in it. Also you actually trust figures made by dictatorships? xD "Natzees, oh wait, the Soviets decimated them." They didn't... they literally begged help and joined allied forces when they were invaded. Without supplies, intel and germany fighting 3 front wars... they would've never pushed them out. Objective reality is that there isn't a single socialist country that has lasted long time and people enjoyed good standards of living.
