@telebubba5527 Yeltsin was willing to negotiate to give them back, but Putin backed off and said that it's insulting and unfriendly to even talk about those lands. Funny though... they claim they are not USSR, but if they are not soviets anymore ,then those lands should be returned to rightful owner.

Meanwhile lot of imperialist and colonialist used same argument "you had nothing before we came to civilize you barbarians". Everyone knows that Ruzzia didn't save baltics or easter europe. They just switched from one dictator to far more brutal one. Not just that but they leached from these countries while preventing them for ever growing to their full potential. From example Estonia's growth exploded after escaping from Ruzzia's rule.

There should never be negotiation with ruzzia. You know why? Because you can't ever trust them to hold on their words. Ruzzianz are liars and cheaters. It's society literally based on similar corruption that warhammer fantasy skavens have.

@stonozka no the payment was unfair for germany since they only followed their allies to the war. Meanwhile Ruzzia just caused war unprovoked and started to target civilian population. ww1 is not comparable. Ruzzia deserve same treatment as germany in ww2, total annihilation and it's right to rule itself revoked.

Meanwhile ruzzianz "that never happened, we always treated you well". Yet they wonder why pretty much every ex-soviet state hates ruzzia with deep hatred. They act as if people who lived during those era no longer exists.

@KevinLyda pfff ruzzia would never uphold any tribunal results. Plus it would just use this to buy time for another massive way. They should be crushed now while they are still losing. Only reason they ask for negotiations because they know they will lose everything. So negotiations are just way to buy time/get some wins from the war. Never trust a ruzkie

@marresjepie1887 Not really odd. First of all the age is getting them. They are no longer sharp as they used to be. Plus since they are paranoid over losing their power they end up getting rid of their friends who helped them to get into power or previous supported them. As results they slowly end up running out of loyal supporters and have backstabbing sycophants around them. Who just reinforces dictator's delusions that everything is running fine and that they are more powerful as country than they really are. For this same reason kings/dictators/despots have extremely rarely ended up holding the power to themselves or to the family itself. Power is build on having friend in right places, and over time the friends disappear or they don't support the future heir.

@nian60 My lifestyle in Finland has been the same like it was before the invasion. Only small cost increase in grocery store shopping. This isn't even close what people try to advertise in ruzzian media, heck not even what they advertise in our media. Heck even my electricity bill just increased with couple euros per month.
