Yeah life is cruel, but that isn't evidence for afterlife. What you're doing here is wishful thinking. Also you have no logical reasoning that afterlife would exists only if there is good and just god. Heck there could be one even if there was evil and sadistic one as well. Your second point. How do you know god is not physical? And just because something isn't physical, it doesn't mean that there is non-physical reality. You keep leaping into conclusions. Like if god is not physical (not even proven by you), then there is non-physical realm (not logically proven), therefore humans have to have non-physical side. There is literally no way you can jump into those conclusions by using logic and reason. Also existence of afterlife isn't tied to existence of a god. Btw jews don't believe in afterlife. This whole video seems to be appeal to emotions. So what if life has no meaning? You make meaning in it for yourself. You will get numb to all the horrors of the world eventually and stop thinking about them and move on. There is no need to believe in fairy tales to keep yourself sane. We are resilient specie.

+MoonbeamsMuses lol no. These are arguments I already refuted when I were in highschool. I simply stated which I already knew almost my whole life.

+OneManCast "I shudder to think of your naive mentality on one hand about an imaginary God with no facts and only hearsay to back it up, then calling the opposite side "wishful thinking"." So I'm naive for not believing in all mighty all knowing supreme being that create humans just for fun and he loves everyone to the point that he is willing to throw them to eternal torture if they don't believe in him? I'm sorry... But only one who is naive is people like you who believe fairy tales told them without any evidence. Burden of proof, and there is no proof for god, therefore I can automatically assume that he doesn't exists. "We need actual proof and facts about an existence about an imaginary God and afterlife." Yet you believe in god without evidence.

+Jisha Reiji Wanting to believe is not same as something is true. "What did you mean by non physical reality? Did you mean "Soul"? " Watch the video and you might figure it out.

+Tarun Sehrawat Not closing eyes. The opposite. Actually keeping eyes open, instead of being delusional and coward.

+Nycto "Well its worth considering the fact that millennia upon millennia of wise men's " Appeal to authority. Making things worse you assume that those were wise men. Not to mention there were wise men who stated that god is a monster. You simply have group of idiots having wishful thinking. No sane man could call god as just and kind for sending someone to eternal torture. I wouldn't put there even my worst enemy. "-There is no way to prove that your point is the case either as the scientific method is limited by what is tangible" God of the gaps argument. For ancient humans God was physical being. In fact gods were physical beings for them. After we managed to go to the space, the religious people came up with new excuses. Which is that god is beyond any method to measure. Also burden of proof. Positive assertion made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. "Your understanding of religion is, to be honest, tenuous as is apparent with that last sentence." Nope. I have actually read religious book from major religions on this planet. Not only that but my grades was always from 4 to 10 a 9 in school when it came to religion. The very fact that I actually understand religions and their history is the thing which allowed me to become atheist. "Its not so much a matter of believing fairy tales to keep ourselves sane in the wake of the real world but rather to act as a guideline towards how we should approach the world." One doesn't need religion to form guideline on how to approach world. Only mentally weak and lazy people do so. " We know that these guidelines work because countries that established laws to follow the judeo-christian doctrine " False, most laws that you can see are not based on judeo-christian. In fact they are based on common sense and almost every culture shares these laws. Name even one law that judeo-christian doctorine has brought to west that doesn't exists in other cultures that isn't judeo-christian. "doctrine have proven to be among the most successful in the world. " Also false. West has been secular for past 100-200 years when it came to laws. The time when it actually became powerhouse. Under christian doctorine we had dark age. Another religious lunatic destroyed by reason.

+Nathan Ball "if God were physical, that would basically make God a part the universe, wouldn't it?" Based on what? What makes you think that there can't be multiple universes? "I don't think it makes sense for Jews not to believe in an afterlife of some sort. " It does make sense if you actually study religion. "The Jewish scriptures say the prophet Elisha did not die, but was taken to Heaven." Notice word... DID NOT DIE. It's not afterlife if you don't die. Also let me remind you... These happened in physical world (said to happen by fairy tale books) and people were suppose to witness all that. Which means... It wasn't something that was spiritual. It was something that manifested in physical realm.

I'm disappointing that he didn't even put up any argument. He was simply jumping into conclusions and then putting some wishful thinking while trying to appeal to emotions.
