@jonkite0071 NATO is military defense pact. Not governing body. All it requires from members is to defend each others if one is attacked.

@JoshuaB-p8c First of all. Okraine having revolution doesn't justify ruzzia sending their troops there. Second of all, there wasn't revolution. It's well recorded that those "rebels" were all part of Ruzzian army who didn't wear national colors. When caught they all were found out on pay list of Ruzzian military. Even their leader was officer in ruzzian army. There was never any real revolution but simple green men operation. Which btw is against international laws. Soldiers have to wear insignias of their countries when doing operations.

Issue is that NATO is about North Atlantic treaty... that's where the name comes from. Though I do agree that they should change name and accept other than western countries to be part of it. Every free and democratic country should join in unision against these genocidal dictatorships.

Were joining NATO precisely because we know that we would be next target for invasion after Ukraine. Ruzzia had clear pattern of invading their neighbors with justification of getting back their historic borders.

@ktrimbach5771 You're clueless. Finland was subjugated by Ruzzia since ww2. They had to pay huge amounts of money to them and were forced to sign defence pact with ruzkiez. The moment soviet ruzzia collapsed Finland took opportunity to escape from ruzziaz's grasp and joined EU. Then bit by bit closer to NATO in order not to provoke early ruzzian invasion. Now that Ruzkiez invaded Okraine, it was perfect moment for Finland to join NATO without ruzzia having chance to invade them. As Finnish person I say this clear. For over 100-years Finnish people have hated ruzzianz for their constant invasion, bullying and genocide of our people. Also border treaty? Rofl... Treaty was made with soviets not with Ruzzia, thus it's invalid. Plus it needed to be ratified once every 5-years. Which haven't been done for two decades. Typical low IQ ruzkie making lies here

Not just that but it took several months before western nations send arms to Okraine to support them. Most of the weapons and tanks that Okraine has were Ruzzian ones that they Okranians captured when cowardly ruzkiez ran away. Small nation successfully managed to hold biggest country on the world for several months alone and after that managed to even push them back. Ruzkiez are objectively speaking losing the war and if they somehow manage to win... It will be Pyrrhic victory that doesn't cover the cost of the war.
