@soccer9199 Finland and Sweden asked to join NATO. NATO didn't force or even ask them to join. While for Ukraine NATO never asked them to join nor did Ukraine even consider joining NATO.

@rajpanda5065 You do realize that Russia started WW2 by allying with Germany and making pact with them on how to share Europe? Thus Ukraine should be free and Russia shouldn't hold any country that it took before ww2.

@rajpanda5065 Nope, Read actual history books. Originally Russia signed Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. This pact enabled Germany to invade Poland and Russia to start waging war against neighboring countries as well. Pact was secret and was revealed decades later, which ended up contributing to the fall of soviets. Since it made Russian holdings illegal.

@rajpanda5065 It was against soviet laws to occupy other countries by force. The pact proved that those occupations were done by force and not to "liberate" them. Every European? Name one beside Germany.

@rajpanda5065 During 1930-44? I don't remember such thing happening, and again why does this matter again? Since it's literally in soviet's constitution that they aren't allowed to invade other countries and the pact proved that Russians broke the constitution.

@rajpanda5065 So you totally disregard that they didn't colonialize any new countries at the time and that USSR broke their own laws?
