  26. Ukraine hadn't applied to NATO until Ruzzia invaded them. In fact it wasn't even popular opinion and no politician at the time supported it. Also Ruzzia doesn't own Ukraine. It has no rights to dictate who Ukraine allies with.

Meanwhile Nazies actually wrote allience treaty with Ruzzians about how they share the european land among themselves. Ruzzia never joined to the war to help, but simply at first to defend itself and then to expand it's territory. Had ruzzia been good it would've actually liberated eastern Europe and baltics instead of turning them into satelite states.

If Finland said that Karjala is independend would that give Finland right to invade Ruzzia? Also crimea didn't want to join, it was well recorded that voting was done by force since third party observers weren't allowed in the region to follow the vote and military was there standing with guns in the polls, thus threatening voters.

Ruz will never win world war 3 as long as Finland is part of NATO. Far bigger threat than Ukraine could ever be for Ruz security. Thus... Ruz screwed up with the war. They gave Finland window to join NATO
