@PandemoniumGameDev Not really protection. Psychopaths will simply adapt and act honorable as long as they know that they won't get caught. Ambitious personality, opportunistic mind, shows lack of care for others or makes fun out of someone's misery. Combined with being charismatic in otherwords popular. These are much more better signs to spot one.

@Aquaticphilosophia that just sounds delusional. Cat's play with their pray. Easy joking, pat in the head and then when opportunity is right and playtime is over... you're snack for them. As stated by video, they do not feel empathy, love nor kinship. Literally everyone including other psychopaths are prey to them in their mind. Only way to treat psycho is well... you know fully well.
35
They will still look down on each others. While they might make temporally alliances among themselves, they still see each others as enemies as well. Reminder... they do not feel kinship. They are incapable to feel it.
33
psychopathy doesn't come from trauma. Sociopathy does, in fact what you described here is example of actual sociopath. Sociopaths are impulsive and violent while incapable to feel empathy toward certain groups of people while they can still have empathy for others.
22
@enoon7617 they are literally incapable to do so
19
@Artisticchaos don't, that guy is just delusional person. First of all no psychopath would be admitting that he is one. Second of all even if his story is half-true. He is just being used for something. Psychopaths don't feel kindship toward anyone, including other psychopaths. In fact if what he says is even half-true that would mean his life is in grave danger.
13
@huwhitecavebeast1972 average person is good, but one should always keep healthy suspicion in their minds.
7
@uchihamadara8693 yes, which means you're sociopath not a psychopath. Sociopathy can be treated by psychopathy isn't.
4
@imissnickplur4964 They behaved well during covid. Most policies and reactions were made to protect those who are vulnerable.
3
@saysamnang9851 again this just isn't the case as proven by honor cultures. Psychopaths will just adapt and hide within system. Psychopathy isn't defined by lying 24/7
3
@janellepank I can relate to that. My mom was highly manipulative person. On bright sight it helps you to spot them and be more resilient to attempts of manipulation.
3
@saysamnang9851 no? As I said before psychopathy isn't defined as being a liar. The culture just makes the punishment of being caught much harsher but psychopaths never think they will be caught.
2
@cityguard4847 I'm going to give you wake up to the reality. Famous honor culture. Japan during the period when samurais were common. I think we all agree they were considered as honorably right? But what If I told you that samurai literally had right to cut down a peasant just to test the quality of his sword? Now he might not be a liar... but do you honestly think that any non-psychopath would do so?
2
@KevinJohnson-cv2no except society full of people like that wouldn't function. They would all die to extinction. They aren't superior, they are just parasites that depend on us.
1
@abecochran4251 pretty much, these are naturally born evil people. They are incapable to be good since only way they enjoy life is through abusing others.
1
@africaart you sound like a psychopath. Victim is never the blame. Also psychopaths and sociopaths are incapable to think long term. They think they will never get caught and only live on the moment.
1
@hungrymusicwolf First of all in order to be liar you need to be doing it consistently. Second of all, psychopaths are not defined by being liars. They are defined by lack of empathy.
1
@sandykay2311 you come to mind
1
@yayawawasy Blaming parents is pretty psychotic and narcissit. You're not taking responsibility of your own actions. Truth is there are people who even grew up with abusive parents and still ended up being good people and relatively successful lives. Also communism and socialism are systems of psychopaths. Only capitalist nations are ones doing good to this planet and do charities.
1
@nonmups9973 they can
1
@Aquaticphilosophia you don't. You're one of the cattles. Worse, You're deluded enough to think they care about you.
1
@antoniolima1068 psychopaths have IQ so low that, they think that mental disability is strength.
1
@Aquaticphilosophia There is no bonding. They are literally incapable to feel bond toward anyone. You act as if they are different species which isn't true. They are just mentally disabled to be incapable to feel emotions. This is actually harmful for them since emotions exists for reason for majority of population. There is evolutionary benefits for it.
1
@josephwhittaker442 They do not group up in U.N for sake of grouping up with other like minded. They just get position in there since they seek positions of power. Psychopaths devour each others daily.
1
@gameaddictgonewild777 Actually psychopaths are extremely easy to fall into tricks. This is because they are animalistic and only follow their base instincts. They aren't as complex as normal humans. Once you understand that someone is a psychopath, it's easy to bait them.
1
@josephwhittaker442 He makes videos? Oh damn, now that I watch him... he has same empty look on his eyes as one of my lower IQ real life friend. This guy is more like ADHD combined with some serious mental illness, possibly schizophrenia like my friend has (he has both of them). More I watch his video the more nuts he is. This guy has no clue what psychopath is.
1
still better than alternatives
1
Desire for power and control isn't the definition of psychopathy. You need more traits there.
