  4. Andrei Pătru Other one is medical condition where your brain chemicals are fucked up. Depression usually causes lack of motivation and will to do anything. It even leads eventually of you becoming emotionally numb. It's simply the final state of not giving fuck about anything. When you're sad you give a fuck about stuff. Being sad simply make you simply feel ill.

  10. Depression is actually physical mental condition. It's not something you choose. I actually had severe depression (diagnosed by psychiatrists) in the past. Got over it with medication. Which I don't need anymore. People confuse being sad as being depressed. Huge difference. Admitting weakness? I kept quiet about it for many years. People were actually surprised that I had one once I told. It's "trending" more often in west because in west people actually get to be diagnosed with it. In poor countries those people don't have money to go to psychiatrist to get diagnose or treatment. For strength of character? I have always had strong character. Always willing to debate and argue with others.

I also mentioned that these drugs are double blind tested. Which is why we know that it isn't a placebo effect. I also mentioned that motivation of these people who don't believe in depression is purely based on their faith on free will which they haven't ever proven to exist. "but free will and depression are real unless you have a some sort of force making type words." So acting is free will? Does a tree have free will? Does computer A.I have a free will? Whole act of acting can be explained even without free will.

"How is there really any difference between believing in a god and not believing in a god?" Other one believes into something without having evidence, and other one doubts the claims over it's existance. "You can't say for certain that there 100% isn't a god" Just like you cannot say 100% that there aren't fairies and dragons. Ever heard of burden of proof? "Just two sides of the same coin really."
