  24. In EU countries you need to show ID if asked. USA loves stalkers and rapists so they keep defending that they don't need to show ID when caught in act of stalking.

  25. I have mixed feeling about the second case. Only in USA you do have right not to identify yourself when cops ask. There is no harm done by showing ID. This law in USA actually is giving stalkers and rapists huge benefit since they can't be identified if seen acting suspicious. What if he was stalking some woman who had placed restriction order on him?

It's just that most of the time it isn't possible to be there on time. Either way, no harm done in asking ID. Only a creep would refuse to give it. OH and btw... He was stalking which is a federal crime. The cops had reasonable reason to ask ID.
