It's literally defensive alliance which only requirement is to help each others while being invaded. Also even if it were military alliance, it would still be better alternative than being under ruzkiez. Ruzkiez are enemy of humanity

  5.  @meso8848  Actually no. Iraq war was not NATO operation. Afghanistan was USA helping local government fighting back against terrorist who declared war on USA. Libya was just making no-flight zone to cover civilians from carpet bombing and Syria wasn't invaded either but it was about fighting ISIS. Same foe that Syrian government fought against as well. Nato played no parts of any of these conflicts. Not just that but USA didn't try to annex any of these nations either.

Meaning that Ruzzia will be landlocked in times of war. Also on striking distance with artillery to major ruzzian cities.

Not just Baltic seas would be blocked but also access to norther seas would be in danger of Ruzzia since Finland can easily storm the port from close distance. Simply put... Between Ukraine or Finland in NATO. Finland is actually the one that checkmates Ruzzia.
