  3. You're so wrong on so many level. First of all you're not thinking at all from his perspective. The fact that he complains low profitability refers that firm isn't doing great, while lot of vacation seems to implication that he is under lot of stress and has hard time managing it. How many people work in that company? Hundred? Thousand? Even small increase for everyone will actually pile up easily the cost in an year over millions. You should be angry to democrats instead for making policies that increased cost of living instead of complaining that your employer won't increase the pay when he is barely even hanging there in the first place. This is classical example of the common perception of The Dunning Kruger Effect. You think that something is not a big deal while you fail to understand the bigger picture due to your lack of expertise and experience.

  5. Getting out of college isn't suppose to make you happy. What you make after it is the key. Personally I found couple dancing as very rewarding hobby to have. You're not just learning something new, but also gaining more friends, becoming more confident and meeting beautiful women. Plus it's good for health to have some physical activity.

  7. I have gone through lot of stuff in my life. Stuff that makes many people appear like spoiled kids when they complain about how hard their life is. Treating adults like children is damaging to them. Instead of blaming others of your current situation you should look at what you can do to your current situation. I grew up in circumstances that sociologists and all left wingers would say that I'm doomed to poverty and terrible life. Yet now in upper-middle class and succeed in almost every aspect in my life in ways that people with more blessed lives even feel envy (by their own admission) to. We can give you all the pity and pander you like child your entire life, but you won't ever feel happy for that. Right answer is to grow up. Doctors don't give you anti-depressants so that you could just live like you lived before those pills. They give it so you alleviate your anxiety to the level that you can start to change your habits and put yourself in situations that used to give you anxious. Those pills are otherwise wasted. It's all about challenging yourself and getting used to tough situations. Lifting weights isn't easy, but more you do it the easier the previously hard weights get. Same applies to life.

Trick is have female friends, but instead of trying to date her, date her friends. Use her as ground to build up reputation and get used to talk to women. Women who friendzone you are also more eager to pair you up with one of their friends. In case she gets jealous, well congrats you just got out from friendzone.

  11.  @ferndog1461  You got some things in wrong. People generally hate outsourced IT. Usually due to how incompetent they are. Some managers just hire from overseas because it becomes cheaper for them, but actually costs more in long term due to damage they do to their business. Not only that but IT folk generally are actually above average IQ. Including ones who do service desk. However as a field it's place where highly ambitious and talented people can easily rise up without having computer science as majors.

Only thing related to honor is that you follow the contract that you made with the company. If you don't have this attitude then you can only blame yourself earning the minimum wage. Do the work you're asked and do it well, if they don't pay you enough then seek for another job in the mean time while keeping your relations with you client and boss positive. After getting new job ask for recommendations. Works always. There is no need for such thing as "loyalty" to the boss or company. They don't pay you for it, they pay you for the work itself you do there. You mix up loyalty with working hard.

"You act like no ones gonna hire em " If someone would hire them, then they would've applies for new job while working at the previous place instead of waiting for it to collapse. Harassment is illegal, all you need to do is record them in action and talk with boss then sue them for non-action and be rich. Also if you really think you were keeping the business a float then you would have grabbed them by the balls and ask salary increase with implication that you will find another place to work if it's the case. All of this just shows me that you really have no clue how to defend yourself even in the most obvious cases. When you know that you're keeping business afloat or that you're irreplaceable, you will negotiate better salaries. When you know that there is harassment then you gather evidence and sue them. Instead you are being passive and hope that eventually salary will increase or they will stop bullying you.

  43. It's an American thing. In nordic countries with strong welfare system people are culturally inclined to be hard workers and shamed for taking social security. In USA most people are not hardworking people and would rather be lazy in their homes doing nothing. So the moment democrats started to give free money to the people, is the same time Americans stopped working. They lack natural backboned that hardened Nordic people have. Welfare systems exists around the globe and only nordics have made it somewhat "work". This is only due to our innate nature. It doesn't work within culture settings where parasitism isn't scorned.
