I have gone through lot of stuff in my life. Stuff that makes many people appear like spoiled kids when they complain about how hard their life is. Treating adults like children is damaging to them. Instead of blaming others of your current situation you should look at what you can do to your current situation. I grew up in circumstances that sociologists and all left wingers would say that I'm doomed to poverty and terrible life. Yet now in upper-middle class and succeed in almost every aspect in my life in ways that people with more blessed lives even feel envy (by their own admission) to. We can give you all the pity and pander you like child your entire life, but you won't ever feel happy for that. Right answer is to grow up. Doctors don't give you anti-depressants so that you could just live like you lived before those pills. They give it so you alleviate your anxiety to the level that you can start to change your habits and put yourself in situations that used to give you anxious. Those pills are otherwise wasted. It's all about challenging yourself and getting used to tough situations. Lifting weights isn't easy, but more you do it the easier the previously hard weights get. Same applies to life.

Lol nothing but excuses for self-pity. There are people with far terrifying childhoods and they are just fine in their 30s. Problem is that you live in past and focus on self-pity and use your past as excuse why everyone should pity and validate you.

He didn't seem to predict anything at all. All he did was to pander the self-centered view where people should blame everyone else of their problems and do nothing to grow up from self-pity. Basically he told that adults should be treated like children.

Yes they has to take responsibility. I have gone through lot of stuff in my life. Stuff that makes people like you seem like spoiled little children. well 5 months later... Did you stop having depression after blaming everyone else and demanding that you should be treated like a child?

@tiptapkey Oh the irony... guy who insults me as jackass acts exactly like one. Also I'm confirmed genius by state's IQ test. So I guess I ahve bigger brain than you ;) Using your poor childhood as excuse for adult behavior is just lame. I went through far worse than most people on this comment section and I got out better than people in far better circumstances.

@youdonegoofed Blaming others of your own failures isn't same as "working on it". Blaming others isn't productive. You guys are just sore losers who never will amount to anything as long as you keep playing the victim card of "I had bad childhood and mom didn't love me enough".

@rimut230 You can blame parents "abuse and neglet" but you can't blame your parents of how you behave as an adult. So many people grew up with abusive household and ended up perfectly fine people.

@Vegan_Kebab_In_My_Hand Pretty arrogant statement.

By stop being self-centered and realize that everyone are hurt and they still move on.

hobbies are a thing. Especially social ones.

@PraetorGix Nothing to do with flexing or soothing my own ego. Everything to do with objective fact how people use "poor childhood" as excuse for their own failures in life.

@tylermidnight self pity doesn't take you to anywhere but grave.
1
@tylermidnight when you're adult then you're completely responsible of your own life and future. I grew up in one of the most toxic environments and manages to pull my bootstraps.

@tylermidnight rofl thanks for proving my point about your weakwill and excuses
