@shogunofharlem8240 did you even watch the video? Muscle help you to be insulin sensitive and they absorb and need carbs. However if you have no muscles then all of those carbs will be wasted and will go into fat cells instead.

@hoodoooperator.5197 there is no need to mention it. Since he already mentioned that issue is insulin sensitivity levels. Everything that increases your insulin levels and decreases sensitivity will screw you up if you don't have enough muscles to back it up.

Issue is that diets haven't really been researched so well. It's only until now were actually putting focus on studying human metabolism and digestion system. I was 90kg and lost 5kg within 3 weeks just by doing carnivore. I have tried many diets like keto, counting calories, intermediate fasting etc... Carnivore so far was most effective. Of course I'm not going to stay carnivore forever. I like food that has variety in taste and alcohol as well. However for dieting purpose... It was golden. Also I retained most of my muscle mass while going to gym. For me I think Keto is the best due to having access to variety of different tastes and still able to drink some alcohol. However for pure weightloss purpose... carnivore is handsdown the best.

@josephboustany4852 Metabolism slowing down during low carb diets is norm. I have experienced it first hand. It is helpful in the first 1-2 months but after it you will end up plateauing and weight just doesn't go down unless you cut down with food to the unhealthy extreme, which in return will screw up your hormones, which in return will make it even harder to lose weight.

So go to gym, build up muscles and avoid sugar?

It seems that the take is... Avoid sugar, Eat carbs before workout to feed your muscles with energy. Then after it eat high protein food and avoid carbs until next day.

@simonround2439 One year huh? That's just newbie gains. You basically enjoy similar effect as using droids in your first year. Thus losing weight and building muscle is possible.

@vk101a ozempic just kills your hunger. Eating loads of fat and protein does the same. Why take oz when you can achieve same cheaper?

@samaa8225 carnivore is the most effective. I have tried different diets while counting calories. I retained most of my muscle mass during carnivore and lost 5kg easily within 3 weeks. Never lost so much weight on that short time period.
