Actually she did ask him why did he write that book since he was a muslim. And he answered that not only that I'm muslim but I have phd... He didn't really answer her question now that I think about it. Being expert isn't really a reason to write. There are many experts in this world who doesn't write a book. It would be best just to say that he was simply interested on the subject and wanted to show what he had learned.

That is how science works. It's known logical fallacy to say that "I'm expert therefore I'm right"

Pakman said, and he didn't never point out why he is right he was only saying that even if he is muslim it doesn't make him wrong, which is correct to say but he was stupid enough to use his authority in this issue. Science doesn't work like this and neither does debates. en(dot)wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/Argument_from_authority I'm inclined to listen someone who says why things are like this instead of saying things are like this.

I understand perfectly what you mean, but it seems that you don't understand me. Well why not ask architect why did he design a house? If something journalists should ask motivation for people's actions. Because people can be highly interested of it.

Silly argument? Actually I was pointing out one of the known logical fallacy called as Argument from authority. Someone being expert doesn't make his point true. As I mentioned before, if person truly is expert he can explain why things are like this without ever saying "I'm expert"
1
But did he say that he just wanted to share what he had learned?
1
Not actually, since everyone has right to talk about subject. Expertise is never enough of anyone talking as authority. Because talking as authority IS NEVER RIGHT WAY TO DO IT. I'm not talking whatever REZA WAS RIGHT OR WRONG. I'm arguing that his method to argue against fox news was bad one.

Sure, sure for 90% of people being racist it's funny that whites actually were ones that stopped slavery. In fact whites also were the ones who actually looks racists badly. Go and see how asians react to black peoples in their country or how blacks react to others. Any person from any race can be racist. In fact how you behave right now is racism.

I know what fox news did and I know it was wrong. I didn't come here to defend fox news. I only commented on how Reza did argue and how David seems to think that someone being expert is enough.

No if he makes claim that 90% whites are something, then he should have also evidence to back that up. As far as I can tell white's are least racists. However in western countries we make bigger deal out of racism so it seems that we are racist. Go check out how korean react to black or how black people react to other races too. Rasicm has nothing do with person's race. It's more like that how stupid he is to not realise that it's the individual's skills which matter and not his race.

Youtube messing with comment section again. No I don't think you support his stances. That was pure accident from me. This is what happens when someone is thinking two debates same time while writing. I'm also probably having dementia soon or something :D

Actually whole argument that he is muslim so he doesn't have facts is stupid, but so is the claim that he is "expert". People who actually know how stuff works never say "I'm expert so this how things are". Experts can actually tell why things are like this without ever using authority card.

Part 2. This is where argument from authority comes. Where pakman said that she was pointing out that "how can a muslim know". There are freaking biologists out there who believes in creationism (very few I may add). Saying that you're expert on something really isn't a way.

You could have answered in my question just with one word. That would've saved lot more effort saying yes or no if you have watched it.
