Bryson Stewart How about trying to understand what I'm saying. CONVERSATION BETWEEN ME AND inevitableAnpu Had literally nothing to do with you. You were the one derailing this thread by starting to argue with me over the point I answered to inevitableanpu. "I reread the comment you were responding to, and I still do not see how it is a "stupid comment." Please clarify." Because in my perspective he was claming that look has nothing to do with someone's personality. The catch is that if I would've read his previous comment I would've noticed that he was pretty much agreeing with me. Anyway me saying that his comment is stupid is actually irrelevant to my point. Which is that I have all the right to state my opinion over it. "No, it is vague. A blurred general impression (preceded by a collective sum of viewer's observations) of the individual at hand can predict their intelligence." You might want to check the defination of the vague and then compare it to the results. "Because it isn't set in stone, " Literally nothing to do with vague. Not understanding something 100% does not mean that the understanding or the information is vague. "and it's most likely cultural bias* and bias to a narrow identification of a constituent within the concept of intelligence as a whole" Literally nothing to do with IQ test results. Not to mention that getting 100% correlation is impossible due the fact that real life different circumstances can affect IQ. Like poisonous substances, getting hit to the head too often, etc...

Of course they do. They get laid more often.

Kaleb Adams Yeah link would be nice. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you but the study itself would be priceless to be used in future debates.

inevitableAnpu Actually no and yes. Studies have been shown that people's look can actually tell about their personality and talents. For example there was study where people were able to see is a guy intelligent or not totally based on their facial features. Not to mention on many previously wild animals who got domesticated in this century had their "wild" facial features reduced and they look more like a dog now. So far I have been capable of judging person's talents and trustworthiness pretty well from their look alone. I learned it the hard way that the disney bullshit people love to believe is actually false.

inevitableAnpu Seems like you didn't read my comment at all about the foxes which were domesticated. Google out domesticated foxes and learn more. World isn't a freaking disney story. Our facial structures are simply side effects of our genes. Environment can affect on personality, but your genes decide how you will react with each environment.

Bryson Stewart Actually you are the one looking things in simplistic manner and you're denying reality. Maybe it's because you look ugly as fuck and hope that disney is right?
1
dawood rashid You actually can be. I did link the studies which prove it. Judging by your reaction you must be very ugly and stupid as fuck. You just can't admit to yourself. ;)

Bryson Stewart Please provide quote where I said that good looking people are smart. If you can't then you need to admit that you're wrong and using strawman argument here. Read the fucking study I provided as a link.

inevitableAnpu How is it derailing when I provided exact evidence that facial features does in fact pay part on person's abilities anr personalities? In fact it's not that face determines that, it's that what is inside affects that. Aka what is in your dna. I already did provide scientific facts of that.

dawood rashid Please provide quote where I said that being attractive has anything to do with it. If you can't then you have to publically admit that you were stupid as fuck with your comment. My argument is still true, look can tell a lot about the person.
1
dawood rashid Literally doesn't address what I had just said to you moment ago. Common, still waiting for the quotation and the time.

Bryson Stewart You said you saw the study more than year ago yet you just asked me to provide evidence for it's existence? That is very curious indeed. "Now here's the thing: SHUT THE FUCK UP" Freedom of speech. Deal with it. I think I have my right to address when someone makes stupid comment which says that personal look doesn't tell anything about the person. "How general bone structure can vaguely predict a person's intelligence." Study showed that it was more than vague... just saying. "but you need to admit that your mentioning of that study was completely useless and out of context. It added nothing to the conversation. " IT was very relevant to the claim the person made in this topic. Hence I have no idea why you did even jump in to that argument. Especially since he also presented a question which my comment did address.
1
dawood rashid And where in that comment you see me talking anything of being attractive?

Bryson Stewart I must say, I'm surprised of your reaction. I raise my imaginary hat for you. Not every person is capable of admitting that. Would buy you a beer if knew you in real life.
