TentaclePentacle This, so much truth. The conservatives of yesterday also use to be pretty liberal when compared to the time when they were young. During their time and age, the ideas they holded were liberal like, now those same ideas are called as conservatives. However I agree modern liberalism is dead. Rare liberal even knows what word liberalism means. They just go with the group. Just like with religion, they choose mostly the one which they are surrounded.

Not really a surprise. I have argued against both sides, and noticed that liberals react more with emotions. Feminist lynching mobs are good evidence of this. Conservatives at least allow people to debate and discuss with them, while liberals focus on shutting people up. I find this disgusting, because I'm liberal by definition. However I see that most liberals don't even know what word liberal means. Hence they have many opinions which contradict the very definition of liberalism.

Malcolm Swoboda Most people including liberals are very "objective" (read:purely subjective to their values) stantards. Most often resulting in no minds being changed. You see cognitive dissonance is something that every person suffers, no matter what ideology they hold. It's something that can be eased with practice and constantly learning new things which replace previous beliefs. JD Tremblay Canada is part of the America's continent last time I checked the world map. Word American implies everyone who lives in that continent. Kurt Jensen False comparison, both liberals and conservatives have their anger and fear reactions. Think bit more some of your ideas that you hold. Are you claiming that none of them is based on fear or anger, or has some of that in the background? AT least be intellectually honest with yourself instead of fall into group mentality thinking.

***** First of all I didn't say anything about my argument. Since you didn't address me directly. "here is emotional empathy," I have never heard about emotional empathy. That is made up concept. Because EMPATHY IS ALWAYS BASED ON EMOTIONS. By it's definition it means that you're capable of feeling someone's pain when you see them in pain. This is why I said you made up words in here. Basically you're trying to weasel out of your own stupidity.
