TheElderize 75%? I don't remember any public survey ever asking my opinion about this. However what I can see around me many people have started to support idea of nato. That would literally be only way to stop Puttin being the playground bully. And yes it would hurt Finland economically, but thinking in farsight it would be better for the whole world. Also I don't see why Finland's allies wouldn't back Finland up economically if Finland decides to sacrifice it's economy for good of all. Not to mention that it would also hurt Russia's economy so they would start trading again over time.

NATO isn't expanding, it's growing and Russia is keep helping it to grow. Each one of the new member of NATO joined to NATO because they got sick and tired of Russia.Whole eastern Europe and baltics are just iching to fight against Russia in Unision. There are centuries old grievances between Russia and all of these states. Russia has attacked, oppressed, raped and done mass murder multiple times in this countries. Simply put... There is noway that civilians would fully form army in 3 days after protest while wearing modern army's equipment and have fully organized military command.
