  3.  @dan4461  Russia is not successor to the USSR in fact it was one of the firsts to leave USSR. Also USSR was confederance. Those nukes belong to the country they were in. Only mistake Ukraine made was that they didn't send those nukes straight to Moscow.

If you understood anything about the history, then such comment would make no sense in historic context if you knew the borders of the time.

There was never written contract about this. It was matter of speech about it was dealing about Unification of east and west berlin. Also none of this would justify invasion of Ukraine. If something it just proves that Ukraine should've joined NATO in the first place to prevent this war.

  10.  @bongbong6464  They never tried to join NATO and Russia invaded them in year 2014 when they just wanted to trade with EU. NATO wasn't on the table at the time. Also Russia doesn't own them, they have their right to decide. Russian's act of war isn't justified. It's not their vassal state.

If you see Russia prior 500-years ago and you will change your mind. IF were about to restoring historic borders then Give Finland it's lands back. I bet you won't.

Not true, USA didn't try to occupy cuba, they made blockade to prevent genocidal missiles to come to cuba. Totally different case.

Putin ruined Russia that would've otherwise become new beacon of liberty and modernized country. There is nothing foolish in stopping antagonizing all of your neighbors, which is something that Putin and Russia loved to do for past 500-years. Gorbachev understood that acting like a bully in foreign diplomacy would have serious long term consequences. None of those countries would've joined NATO if Russia was actually friendly with them.

NATO gained two new allies next to Russia that are far more powerful than Krainene and Russia lost all of it's professional army and modern equipment while fighting against small nation xD "America acted when Cuba got Soviet missiles." Also not even close to Cuban crisis which was about Cuban dictator wanting to have nukes to bomb USA (which he openly stated).   33. You're acting as if USA was the one starting the war just because it's military complex benefits from it. This is not true, war was started by Russia. USA had nothing to do with it. People who know history of Russia and lived next to it, all hate russia for good reason. This is because we know that even if USA and NATO didn't exists, Russia would still try to invade whole Europe bit by bit. They have been conducting bully politics for over 100-years already.   38.  @CrystaliaV  Having more troops won't change anything in modern warfare. Especially ones who are poorly trained. In fact it will do the opposite. They already have poor supply lines. Which will cause low morale and starvation. Which can easily end up in massive mass route. Plus in modern warfare number of footmen is irrelevant when modern artillery can ensure that you can never utilize them all. Plus the weapons that can easily shoot several guys at once. Simply put... they are nothing but cannon fodder. Russia should just fold out and admit their defeat. Continuing this war will just makes things worse for Russia. There is nothing to gain from said war anyway. Even if they took over whole Ukraine, it would be nothing but Ruins now. Aka there is nothing to gain but trying to keep their ego of being "mighty empire". If this was trully what Russia says... Then they lost the moment they started. They gave NATO two powerful allies that are even stronger than Ukraine. And they ended up losing all of their modern equipment which takes at least 2 decades to rebuild. At beginning of the war there were attempts, then Russia started to commit genocide so all negotiations were off the table. Also Ukraine guarantee autonomy of regions that they own? Really? Stop lying, you know fully well that those regions are Ukraine's and they don't want to be part of Russia or be autonomous.
