@Cyber_Jar23 IF you knew the context of this. The country was crime ridden and criminals were openly doing their activity in front of everyone, including public executions. What is your solution to this? You don't have any answer because only answer is pure show of absolute force by submitting all the criminals. Also this was temporally emergency power being used, not permament law change.

Yep, Since childhood I knew who in my class would become criminals later. Well guess what? I was right. The inherent nature of the person already can be seen when they are children. In fact it's astonishing that societies across world refuses to acknowledge this fact... It's as if the psychopaths in power want to prevent humans from detecting them early on ensuring that they will never get any power.

I would pick the dictator. Also reminder, these were emergency powers being used. Nothing he did would change constitution in anyway and I'm pretty sure there would be uproar if he started to prison his political opponents with these powers. There is literally no other alternative to save that country that had been already deeply corrupted and in high crimerate than this approach. And government arresting communists is the right thing to do. Communist aren't any better than these animal gangs. In fact they do the same stuff as those animals. There is 0 self-proclaimed communist country that haven't been extremely brutal toward everyone.
