@hxyzazolchak It really isn't. Ultimately the default stance in science is that something is false, but the default stance in religion is that it is true. That is why we have faith in science, because that faith is actually no leap of faith at all.

@hxyzazolchak you just made that up. It must be sad to have to deny science as a concept, even if it is integral to your life, just so that you can rationalize believing in fairy tales.

@hxyzazolchak "I made what up?" You made up that science presumes things to be true. It is the opposite. In science, things are presumed to be false, but if things can't seem to be shown to actually be false, things are put in the "probably true" category. Asking a "what if question", which hypothesis are, is not the same thing as presuming things to be true. "You are the one who believes in things when evidence and logic clearly goes against it." That was just some nonsense you threw in there because you thought it sounded good. It didn't.

@hxyzazolchak but how that faith is dealt with differs a lot. The faith in science is based on skepticism and that it actually works, it gives us among other things these computers or mobile devices we write on. At some point, do you have faith that a rock will fall when you drop it, or can we call that knowledge?
