  3. I sort of feel the same about this might take away too much focus from other missions, but then that might be a good thing. I have complete faith in tesla and spacex employees to manage without elon, as long as elon is there as a guiding light towards the mission.

  7. I understand what it entails. To me, equality of expression is more important than freedom of expression, but you can't have the latter without the former so that is a moot point haha, but it highlights how I think it is easy to achieve positive change.

  8. it will be interesting to see if the left can manage to build the alternative that the right couldn't. They have the banking system on their side, so at least it is possible for them.

  9.  @justanothernick3984  it is asking a heck of a lot of normal people to give up their followings and habits. All twitter need to do is add an option that turn official comment filters on or off or something. I for one am annoyed to have to click on "show more" (or whatever) to get the.... "less appreciated" comments on twitter, as I find them often most valuable (less echo chamber).

"And filters give the chance to have people write their stuff and that can lead to outing people" I am not sure what you mean with this, so please elaborate if you feel like it :). "I don't think you can say or write anything you like without consequences." well, the law is the law, and you could be fired for it, you could lose friends for it, but you should not be censored for it. "And that will lead to banning as well." Doesn't have to, if your crime is so grave that you go to prison, you won't be able to tweet. When you have paid your debt to society and have gotten out of prison, you should be able to tweet again (I mean, we do agree that you should be able to vote in open and free elections as an ex-con, right?). The tweet will of course be taken down, as it being up there would be like committing the crime over and over again. I am not sure why you are so comfortable with there being no second changes for people who do the wrong thing, do you think all crimes should have a life sentence as well? (colorful exaggeration)

  19. I really hope he won't succumb to such temptations, but either way it's going to be an improvement. If not for anything else just as a reality check on the rhetoric used to support censorship from the left.
