100% this. My excitement is growing. And this is probably not even totally directed at me as I have only leveled three classes beyond lvl 25 anyway ^^. I just hope that the majority of discovery is about the world rather than the classes.

yeah, and it is tbh kind of smart. I think :P. We'll see :). Well, even if it fails it is still kind of smart imo, lot of valuable lessons to be learned.

@commander_fu6457 I think it makes a lot of sense to experiment before going the classic+ route though. That way they can get a real sense of what people like and dislike.

I'm gonna sign up. I want to encourage them to do things with non-expansional classic :).

@bendak7584 yeah, makes perfect sense to add non classical cataclysm to classic to drive it into the ground, have some experimental time for classic+ and then blizz and the players might actually be ready for a classic+ breakthrough.

It would be interesting if they got healing in quite a different way, like a healing ward that makes it better to not just have one tank, but to spread out the threat.

and all the nay sayers can join in after they have seen how much fun we have, and still be able to discovery new stuff along everyone when the cap is increased to... 40? 25 40 50 60 seems like logical steps every 2 month.

@Wolta Well, they said that? That seasons is great because they can experiment. Plans change, so it would not make sense to outright say it. Now they have promised nothing and it is up to us to show interest. In a sense I get the opposite feeling, that they go out of they way to say this is not classic+ and lean into the seasonal thing, with only nods to "plus" to let us know that they are definitely considering it.

it wont be capped at lvl 25 for ever. After a couple of months, they will increase it. Not gonna read the rest if your rant, just wanted to inform you :).

@nickcage5626 chars are not deleted on seasonal servers, they are moved to era. Same with hardcore server.

I regret that I didn't mention anywhere that I would guess next season would be season of discovery (as I could have said I told you so :P). It makes sense as it leans away from increased difficulty and more towards the concept of classic+.

it also looked like people actually had fun in levelcapped ptr, with the world pvp etc. If they can incentivize world pvp for lvl 25, it could open up fun doors.
