7:23 how many? Dude you have to be at least more specific to not sound like right wing propaganda from 20 years ago...
35
4:02 lack of evidence is not proof of the opposite though.
14
if he had already spoken to Saagar, wouldn't it have been more interesting to have Krystal interview him? Challenge him a bit on his claims.
13
@bustamoveorelse I was critiquing his logic, but since you made a claim, can you back that up?
3
10 minutes of prep work and Michael is easily torn down. His BS about 6th mass extinction was fun to look into.
3
@JohnSmith-gz4fs and that is why we cause the 6th mass extinction, no matter how much Michael tries to fool people.
2
@JohnSmith-gz4fs as long as it doesn't f**k us in the end. The point here is though that Michael is wrong.
2
@Meko same here.
2
lying is common sense? What does IPBES and IUCN say about the 6th mass extinction again?
2
I am honestly 50/50 on them, but the nonsense this guy was spouting is what makes me click on the thumbs down. I looked up his claims about IPBES and IUCN and found the opposite.
2
3:11 how is it chocking that people say humans are causing the 6th mass extinction? I've never heard the opposite. He really should say what is causing it, or that there isn't one. For him to just leave it out makes me REALLY suspicious.
1
@notskottkendall only math deals with proofs.
1
@JohnSmith-gz4fs but what did it cost?
1
@JohnSmith-gz4fs that is not the answer to my question. We are talking about the catastrophic event.
1
@JohnSmith-gz4fs "Completely cleaning up and taking apart the plant could take a generation or more, and comes with a hefty price tag. In 2016 the government increased its cost estimate to about $75.7 billion, part of the overall Fukushima disaster price tag of $202.5 billion. The Japan Center for Economic Research, a private think tank, said the cleanup costs could mount to some $470 billion to $660 billion, however."
1
@ApesAmongUs that is what happens.
1
@ApesAmongUs elaborate on that, please.
1
@ApesAmongUs unusual things are expected to happen. Even if it is very unlikely that you will win the lottery, it is expected that someone does. If you bring a thousand people together and have them toss a coin ten times, adds are one of them gets heads every time. It's not like this isn't taken into account when building things, like "The structure was designed to withstand a collision with a one million tonne iceberg (expected to occur once every 500 years) and even a direct hit from a six million tonne iceberg (expected just once every 10,000 years)." But it is quite difficult to anticipate all these outlier events.
1
it wasn't their fault.
1
that is the problem with lying, people tend to focus on you and not your point.
1
@thedpsemporiumofdrumtracks5648 if that is the case, he should stop lying. It is easy to ignore a liar because you should not trust liars.
1
@midlander8186 "... the assertion the world is going to end from climate change in twelve years or fewer is preposterous." Who makes this assertion, other than AOC when she spoke in jest once?
1
look up his claims about IPBES and IUCN and you'll start to get the picture why.
1
@studlyasianmatt2028 that does not answer my question. "How many" refers to how many birds that are killed. Do you know?
