@alexvorobyov6314 "But when you dismiss everything as blur or a bird? Seems like a religious level of skepticism." Not if you show that a bird or plane would look exactly what was seen as the UFO.

if you can get a big portion to believe Trump won the election, it should be a piece of cake to make people believe there are super tech out there not in the US hands.
13
they are not reporting about it seriously as they do not question one bit what the most probable simple explanation would be.

@alexlee4812 "all the while the trained navy ..." So what you are saying is that you would believe the military no matter what they would say?
3
@scottparr5606 "You dont understand. Subs track them with sonar systems traveling underwater at hundreds of knots, then they go in and out of the water, then out to space." Who makes this claim?
3
@Beery1962 the debunking of all thess videos is entertaining though :).
2
what he should have said is that the person taking the video said "splash", so not an actual sound you heard. The person just assumed it splashed, rather than flickering out or seemingly more likely going over the horizon.
1
what do you mean?
1
@chesslover8829 "The problem with this analysis is that UFO sightings in more modern times date back to 1947." Not sure what you mean, which analysis?
1
@chesslover8829 "Maybe, people are more easily deceived nowadays, but I seriously doubt they were when I was a child, a time long before the Internet ..." I won't take your word for it, and I suspect it would be the opposite. Depends on how old you are of course :D. "In other words, these objects are real, and the Pentagon has decided to stop lying about their existence." That means nothing though, could still be un-extraordinary objects.
1
@alexvorobyov6314 "Except that it does not in the go fast video." Why not? Why do you think it is unreasonable for it to be a balloon? How do you think e.g. a weather balloon should look like give the different distances etc? "I mean what if it was a bird and this was the military saying "look we have sensitive equipment that can lock on a bird" or what if it was a tiny target drone?" Not sure what point you are making here.
1
@Mr.Obongo "it obviously has gravitational proponents" What are you talking about? This video? You don't find it curious that it "emerges into the water" at the exact position that it makes it look like it goes beyond the horizon? :P. It is as if something just went over the horizon, something that happens, so, so, so , so many times each day that you are bound to "catch it in a UFO style video".
1
@Mr.Obongo not sure what you mean. Cavemen think a smartphone is god/aliens, an educated person realize that it is just a smartphone.
1
@alexvorobyov6314 ah yeah, not a fan of Thunderf00t's style :P. A transponder would be bellow I presume! "It would be helpful if the military clarified this but as I said it could have been a demonstration of capabilities." Could be, but seems odd that the pilots are surprised, unless they are doing some blind test of course, which seems like a likely thing to do. "My issue with West is the gimbal does not look like a plane banking." Hm, which plane? The observer or the UFO?
1
@donnievance1942 "You do realize that for the object to still be listed in the military's unidentified category, all the mundane explanations- birds, weather balloons, etc.- have been ruled out by analysis?" Define "ruled out".
1
@alexvorobyov6314 "No the UFO." I thought he didn't claim the object rotated in the Gimbal video, wasn't the whole thing that the camera had to rotate as the airplane went from looking slightly to the right to looking slightly to the left? (or the other way around) Didn't he say that there are more things going on inside these cameras that makes his representation not perfect? "Also, when the pilots say "its rotating", are they looking at the IR or did they have a visual on the object?" I can't recall hearing anything definitive either way.
1
@andthoseotherguys not sure if you are joking or not mate :P.
1
@scottparr5606 "THE US NAVY!!!" Do you have a direct quote for that?
1
@scottparr5606 that is why I am asking you. Where can I find a quote of the Navy making this claim?
1
@alexvorobyov6314 hehe yeah :D. Either way it's interesting, epistemology always become a bit more fun (imo) when attached to conspiracy-adjacent topics like flat earth, 9/11, moon landings and alien visitation etc. :)
1
@JohnnyTrulove true, but what we see today is people being perplexed by smartphones, to follow the analogy.
1
@1legdJarhead "Thanks for the sermon :-)" what?
