holy bleep, I totally didn't see this coming? What is the purpose of mass media if they don't provide me with more entertainment based on this man's suffering?

@emiliavenka but that's the thing. Highly unlikely means it will happen every now and then, and the wrong person gets convicted. In every case you can say "well it is highly unlikely", yet it is a sure thing that people are wrongly convicted.

so if the majority is, lets just imprison the boyfriend of every woman murdered... It is highly unlikely a women is killed by anyone, so that kind of rhetoric is absolutely useless. What you have to answer is how the system is to deal with a situation where a newly separated woman is killed, but not by the previous partner. How do you want to deal with such situations?
