I think you have a point there, but I would also like to diminish that point a bit by saying that "policies systematically target and disadvantage brown and black people" is often not that clear cut. It easily becomes a circular argument about who's bad and not.

@darind4920 it's just that common sense things like needing photo ID to vote is easy to interpret either way. You assume intent, which is really dangerous when it comes to judging people. It is very easy to assume someone is a bad person and then judge that person for being bad.

@darind4920 I know, I just used it as an example because it is so easy to analyze. As a Swede I find it ludicrous to not have that as a law, that is how it works here. I am not comfortable with your level of generalization btw, when it comes to judging one person for what another person does. I wonder how much time you have spent on trying to understand the actions of Republicans as if they came from a good place, I think it could expand your mind honestly.
