@Bboy10110 many reasons, too many to list. One is that I, as a consumer, in general don't care about the process, only the end result.

@Bboy10110 and why doesn't that apply for things you like created by an ai? Btw, what percentage of things you like do you think you know how it was made? And I mean specifically know how it was made, not just have a general idea. Have you watched a 2 hour documentary on how every song you have ever liked came to be?

@Bboy10110 there is intention of the user of the ai. No, 15% sounds way to high, to the point of being dishonest. I don't believe for a second that you either have so good insight or like so few things. It matter to the point a lot, as you literally enjoy things without knowing anything about how it came to be other than super surface that on par with how an ai makes things. Btw, something that I care almost zero about is artist intention. I don't care what a director indented to say with a film, my takeaways are my takeaways and they are true no matter the intention of the director.

@Bboy10110 it is basically the same intent. You don't care for most of the time, you admitted to at least 85% of the time not caring. There are also massive upsides with ai art. Regular artists also engage in theft, so it doesn't really matter. ai art will 100% be a net positive for the world, no question about it. On top of that, if you think it is bad and we should not engage in it, you are only conceding the area to other nations, and who wins in that situation? Not we, not we.

@Bboy10110 there are many types of artists, not just a guy with a paint brush. I think a director of a movie is definitely creating art. It means you can enjoy it without knowing. Not if it is theft the same way an ai does it. lol because ai art made in other countries will compete with artists from your country, and they could never compete. Remember, art is more than a guy with a paint brush, it is literally every visual and audible expression for entertainment purposes.

@Bboy10110 but another artist using ai will be able to easily outdo you, to make a better setting faster. Now, if you do your thing for fun, not for money, enjoy yourself (and don't beg for money from the government). But if you are trying to compete, you will lose.
