  1. yea in this story it is somehow lost that girls for the longest time harassed and bullied boys for being nerdy and playing games. Females seems to never be responsible for their actions as a group, while men always are.

  3. In my entire life, I never ever saw gaming as unwelcoming to women but rather the direct opposite. I have never ever seen anything so thoroughly welcoming. Sure gamer girls have always gotten a bit too much sexual attention, but that is a sign of being welcomed, and was not nearly as prominent IRL as online.
