not exactly sure how it works, but they might be obligated to do so. Has something to do with receiving money from NASA/gvmt.

@markshort9098 just stop it, it is embarrassing.

Everyday Astronaut did a video about that :).

@tomwatts703 that was a nutty case my friend.
1
@tomwatts703 what's the point? I prefer talking to rational people, and someone who writes "how about the literal political coup in Bolivia he was involved in" is not a rational person.
1
@tomwatts703 if you believe that, you aren't rational. You could only make that determination if he would never joke on twitter, but he does so very often.
1
@tomwatts703 "it's a stupid joke then" Indeed. "if it even IS a joke" No valid reason not to think so. "which I highly doubt" You really should. "And that doesn't mean anything against all the other points I made." But it does very much so against that one specific point.
1
@tomwatts703 "So your entire argument is ..." No, but why talk about many things if we can't even agree on basic facts about one thing? Let's not make it complicated. "'oh but the coup was a joke'" Well, the coup itself wasn't a joke, the joke was that Elon, or whomever he referred to when he said "we", was involved. "which you don't even have proof of" And you don't have proof that he was serious. Imagine going through life thinking that everyone is serious 100% of the times, never being sarcastic and saying the opposite of what is true etc. "... and you think that offsets all the other shit he's responsible for?" This line shows me how irrational you are as a person. I never claimed such thing, but you seem to assume I do. At least, that is what you are writing.
1
he just responded on twitter to a video taken in 2012 where he basically said the same thing :P.
1
what regulations in South Padre Island are they missing?
1
@KingdaToro could it? What is the max range for such an event?
1
did that one fly or float? :P
1
@blahblahghost you've got issues man, I hope you'll work them out.
1
@skuzlebut82 "So, people should stop saying, "Elon said this," or "Elon said that."" Why? It is better provide accurate information, and then people can decide for themselves what to think of it.
1
@skuzlebut82 wops, you expected me to read that? That won't happen when you start your first paragraph by intentionally missing my point.
1
@skuzlebut82 you didn't make an honest attempt at actually responding to my comment, so why should I? If you don't take yourself seriously, why should I? "The fact that you didn't read all of what I said, means you don't have any interest in me saying something that opposes your point. So, my thought on Elon Musk fan boys still stands true." I don't want to talk about Elon at all, no matter if I agree with you or not about him, as that is a conversation that goes nowhere. I think it is a much more interesting conversation to talk about how you don't think it is appropriate to quote him on what he says. "Everyone" knows what Elon time is, so the issue you raise doesn't exist.
1
"The thing about "billionaires escaping to Mars" is largely tongue-in-cheek. I don't think many people seriously believe that ..." I have seen a large amount of comments in different videos that show otherwise :P.
1
if you mean powerful as in force produced during lift-of, it's about the double :O.
1
he was never serious about that though...
1
@StephenGillie do you honestly think your comments are smart?
1

@TheEvilmooseofdoom refueling makes it sounds like it will emit ~4 times the greenhouse gases than it actually will.

1

1
the salt from all the Elon haters is quite delicious.
1
@EnglishMike he doesn't say a few thousands will be enough, so why do you?
1
@EnglishMike all I am asking is that you use the same number as Elon does, and he guesses a million might do it.
1
@EnglishMike that is your opinion.
1
@EnglishMike sure, but at least he admits it is a guess to begin with, you talk as if you have ultimate knowledge and can't possibly be wrong.
