@michaellowe3665 anyone weak minded enough to storm the Capitol because of mob rules deserves to go to prison regardless of who broke the first window. Their were government agents, trump supporters and cronies that started January 6th by trump calling them there to create chaos to stop the certification to buy more time to overthrow democracy. @michaellowe3665 he may have given money to them when he was a Democrat, however when he saw the Republicans had no strong candidates for the party he became president because Hillary was a lousy nomination. Then he moved to a white nationalist president instead of populist conservative and when he lost the presidency then tried every possible way to stay president and caused an insurgency everyone involved in politics saw what a dangerous thing it was to allow he to be president again. So they will find him guilty of some of the crimes he committed to stop any chance of becoming president again. Believe me most Republican Congress members want him gone too because he doesn't know how to compromise instead it is bow to him as an all powerful king or be ostracized by his cult
