@tracybarhite1764 I know we lost US service men on the last days because they were continually shelling the airport until it was unusable and we had to leave by ship and helicopter only, times were different then and it is hard to get a number of deaths but I am sure you remember the chaos of those last few days

@harimakenji7608 you should fact check yourself before posting misinformation, 34 American troops killed in Afghanistan in 2019 through 2020 under trump. If you take trump at his word you are being played a fool, maybe you like that though

@ronaldjeffrey8712 we needed to get out, totally agree with that, but trump left a mess by releasing the Taliban leader and fighters then Biden bungled it by allowing those same fighters to work with us, you can't stop suicide bombers and I hope we leave for good, Islamic ideology will never be a friend to democracy or America

@ronaldjeffrey8712 I agree with some of that, we should have left after bin laden was killed but the beat went on. It's so complicated do we side with the Taliban to fight ISIS now? I don't believe so, the Afghan region is such impassable terrain and so many different tribes, can it ever be governed by anything but warlords? Also the attack on 9 11 wasn't done by Afghans this country was used by them. I'm not sure if we could have ever withdrawn without casualties when you deal with ISIS suicide bombers

@tracybarhite1764 agree with much of that, but when trump negotiated with the Taliban he didn't include the Afghan government we installed either. I agree that the Afghan government we placed was completely corrupt, agree Biden bungled the withdrawal but I am old enough to remember Saigon and the withdrawal there, is it possible to leave a country you invaded without taking pot shots on your way out? I don't think you can

@geak5994 you are totally incorrect. Trump released 5000 Taliban fighters last year. You are talking about the prison that was broken into by the Taliban this year to free more fighters. Perhaps freed by the prisoner that trump released.
