@mark7s980 wrong, it will make it much easier to find people if all the money that is made off a 6 dollar cup of coffee was used to pay the workers fairly and good benefits. All that money goes straight into the people who are already wealthy pockets, why is it that there are these massive mansions with yachts in the backyard while workers struggle to make rent on apartments owned by the very same wealthy people

@bluet6898 exactly then they quit and Starbucks complains they can find workers. If they paid fairly with benefits they would not have these problems. But they don't so I hope they get their union

Employers shouldn't make the environment so bad and wages so low you need a union because with right to work laws employers hold all the cards,

@crazyelf3839 things are different today, the factory work has been taken by robots and computers to do the work, in your day there were a lot more good paying low skill jobs, times have changed

@monacallender721 many are, depends on the area, not the majority. Not sure if you have ever worked in any service industry but when people are having bad days they tend to take it out on wait staff

@monacallender721 don't kid yourself the way these employers become multimillionaires is by paying the workers as little as possible. The work environments in these places are no insurance and no breaks to be talked down to by customers. Believe me Starbucks will not go out of business if they paid better with some benefits. The reason you see the ending of middle class with the rich getting richer and the rest of the workforce working long hours just to get by is because of the unfairness in the way wealth is distributed
