@federicoytbe That’s true, the gains that people miss out on by waiting for a crash are more than what they’d lose in the actual crash. But the teacher’s story also illustrates how our panicky monkey brains lead us astray. More than a few people pull their money out of the market during the crash, and they don’t get back in until the rally is well underway.
