  1. Exactly, that’s what Mr. Boyle cautions us about with the caviar example. Some of this is effect rather than cause. People who have money can invest it, creating a second stream of income. People who can outsource chores have time to volunteer. That said, volunteering can be good for your career, especially the way executives do. They’re not scooping litter boxes at the animal shelter, they’re on committees with other executives.
