  1. Or they’ll rent the goose out, so to speak: start an investment fund and charge clients a percentage. Hedge funds often have a provision where they get a share of any excess returns. Of course the gurus always have a reason why they don’t do this, some vague appeal to democracy and helping the working folks, or conversely an attack on the ruling caste: “Wall Street’s trying to suppress this information, so be a brave rebel and give me $500.”

  3. 9:27 What dude fails to mention is that on that day (Nov 4 2022) DBGI stock underwent a 1:100 split. That means that if on November 3 you had 100 shares worth $0.07 each ($7.00 total), on November 4 that would change to 1 share worth $7.00. The total value of your ownership stake didn’t change. He’s taking advantage of the fact that Google’s stock market display doesn’t immediately catch on to this stuff, at least not for penny stocks. Eventually it’ll retroactively adjust prices to reflect the split, but at the moment it just knows yesterday closed at $0.07 and today closed at $7.00.

  4. Not that I expect Grant Cardone to be consistent, but commercial leases are often structured for quarterly payments. The reason apartment rent is almost always monthly is because your landlord doesn’t trust you. (And in many cases because they’re leveraged up to their necks and relying on you to pay their bills.)
