This list can't decide what it wants to be.  Are we talking about deliberately quirky  videos like "Groove is in the Heart", strange imports like "Cotton Eyed Joe", look-at-me-I'm-so-artsy videos like "Thank U", or dated videos like "U Can't Touch This"?  They could easily have devoted a top ten to each category.  That melange of nonsense, however, is exactly what I love about the 90s.  Back then they were willing to try something crazy.  From about 1998 to 2008, the major record companies settled into a nice comfortable spot and spent all their time defending it from anything new.
