  1. 0:31 - Odysseus totally did it with Circe, and probably Kalypso too. Like Achilles, he also would have had concubines at camp. When he recounts his adventures to Penelope in Book 23, he probably even told her about all of that, because why not? It's not like he was supposed to keep it in his pants for twenty years. Why? Marriage at the time was strictly about producing heirs. The women had not only to remain faithful to protect their son's inheritance (which in Telemachos's case includes a throne, so it's a pretty big deal.) If a guy slept around, it didn't make any difference in who inherits what, so who cares?
