Asking people doesn't help....watching your videos confuses me even more, even though the information is very good. We are Canadians living in New Zealand and now after 20 years moving back to Canada. We love to stay in BC, a milder climate, the Rocky mountains, and many outdoor free things to do. We are not much in eating out or going to concerts, theaters, or so. We have no family in Canada, and friends moved on or died. And the so-called friends we have been talking to are in their late 70th and don't know anything. Really frustrating. But I believe that if one doesn't chase the money but the comfortable life, it be OK. We paying on rent for a 2 bedroom house here in NZ, weekly 510.00 nz, hydro is 160.00 monthly, internet 150.00 monthly and cellphone plan 60.00 monthly. Groceries for 2 people a week is 160.00 nz for basics. Car and dog insurance is 90.00 monthly. And when ye want to visit with a doctor it's 55.00 nz for 15 min or subsidized 19.00 nz . Now gas was today 2.65 a liter. So please you tell me, moving back to Canada and renting a 1 bedroom apartment including hydro for 1400 to 1600 CAN a month looks good to me.

Thanks for sharing, it sure is expensive and makes your head spin. Ok...Apartment including heat, water, hydro 1500.00. Car, petrol, insurance, maintenance, 400.00 a month. Eating out, once a week, 50.00, using free indoor pool and workout at Apartment, using free things to do and meet friends for nature walks or in the winter for ice hockey games on the pond. Free concerts, free festivals, hey we living in Canada. Free is in.

Confusing, i wouldn't know which to choose. I'm a Canadian in New Zealand, we have to pay to see the doctor here. If the doctor sees fit, you get a referral, say to get a scan or x ray, or specialist. But the specialist can deny you or the wait times are month to a year. I had heart palpitations and after waiting 1 year to see the cardiologist for an heart ultrasound, he decided no. He drew a picture of a heart on a piece of paper and said, there is your problem coming from. No medicine, no nothing. So i went home and prayed, I'm a Christian, so i know the Lord sees and hears everything. And yes He answered and the heart palpitations stopped that i had since 15 years.
