  1. As a retired bobby, I agree with most of the sentiments expressed here. Rank and file police officers need to be ordered not to show political bias, nor demonstrate support to fringe or self interest groups. If they do, they need to be disciplined. I also regularly see police officers who look like a bag of sh*t - unshaven, no head dress, long hair, overweight. No wonder the word 'respect' is missing from our lexicon when we have discussions about British police these days.
