  1. It knows exactly what it is doing. As does the rest of the Arab world. No one wants anything to do with the Palestinians because they generate and support armed militants who insist on the eradication of the state of Israel and the propagation of the Shiite flavour of Islam. There is nothing surprising about this.

  2. Oh please, the words genocide and apartheid are banded around with no basis of fact whatsoever! The Israelis have been subjected to attacks by Arabs since the birth of the nation in 1948. Oct 7 was but the latest. They have an absolute and legal right to defend themselves and if innocents get hurt along the way, they should have distanced themselves from the very people who committed those crimes and who hide amongst them.
