  4. I live in Africa and the levels of corruption here is staggering. Individuals in East Africa have recently been arrested for stealing foreign aid - COVID PPE.. We need to be a lot more selective in where our taxes are spent.

  5. Her apology sets a precedent that is wholly inappropriate. As an ex police officer, I often dealt with distressed people. It comes with the job. So now that she has apologised, will she do so again, whenever anyone else comes forward alleging 'distress'? Its a shame she wasn't asked that specific question, nor whether she did so because the complainant was black and / or a high profile athlete.

  7. No they can't just randomly search ppl. There is legislation in place to dictate when they can and when they can't and a record is kept. As everyone involved is filming this, why would the police officers risk their lively hood to operate outside the law, for one paltry stop-check?

  11. So? If Hamas insists on conducting urban operations with civilians present - rather than attempting to evacuate their poor abused brethren - you should expect to see civilian casualties. I'm not sure what this bloke expected.
