  1. Her apology sets a precedent that is wholly inappropriate. As an ex police officer, I often dealt with distressed people. It comes with the job. So now that she has apologised, will she do so again, whenever anyone else comes forward alleging 'distress'? Its a shame she wasn't asked that specific question, nor whether she did so because the complainant was black and / or a high profile athlete.
