  1. She was probably praised by the editorial staff at the Independent, but meanwhile, in the real world, she came in for some serious and justifiable flak. It isn't her place as a BBC employee to give an opinion. That's not why I pay my licence fee and it goes against the founding charter. Interesting that your description of this piece only mentions being praised, when quite the opposite occured. Be careful what and how you report. You can see the writing on the wall for the BBC and it may be catching.
