  2. It's not just the scale of immigration. It is also the nature of the people coming in. Most are young men, low skilled and poorly qualified. Most appear to be from the middle east or Africa and many seem to hold different values than we do. We are sleep walking into significant societal unrest.

I consider myself a patriot and unlike the vast majority of those demonstrating for a free Palestine, I have actually put my money where my mouth is. It’s time we stood up for our hard won values and standards in this country, and stop pandering to people who don’t share them.

  9. And their solution is to try and tackle criminal gangs involved in trafficking. Perhaps the marked lack of success in drug trafficking would hint at how that endeavour will be.....i.e. not at all.

  10. I left the police in the 90s, and so much of this interview chimes with me. The police officer used to be the personification of the law, and the old uniform amplified this point. Officers now look much more militarised, but more than this, male officers are unshaven, have long hair (certainly in Gloucester), call everyone 'mate. They no longer wear headress when outside. I walked the beat and interacted with the local community. People saw the police in operation and could talk to a real person. Officers no longer have the time to do this. We have lost touch with what matters.

  13. Virtually every member of London’s ‘diverse’ population is a recent voluntary immigrant to the U.K. or their more recent offspring.They have absolutely no right to rewrite British history. If they don’t appreciate the freedoms and benefits granted to residents, they can return to their sub optimal existence somewhere else! That includes his Worship the Mayor!
