  1. What the "state capitalism" people fail to account for is that everything sits atop capitalism. It's an underlying feature of human interaction. It's just a question of how much bullshit you can hang off it before it collapses.

  2. Right and left has basically become an incoherent mess. Partly through deliberate obfuscation from the "left" and partly through semantic drift. It's about time we abandoned its nomenclature. I mean, it's based on seating positions in a foreign parliament from centuries ago.
