  2. You're absolutely right. I lived with a vegetarian for a while and we did our own cooking a lot. Nearly every kind of meat substitute was a disappointment. Far better to cook food that tastes good for itself. Ironically enough, keto often suffers from the same kind of impostor syndrome (cauliflower pizza?). The only good substitute I found was Sosmix but that's probably because UK sausages contain a lot of filler anyway.
