  1. I upgraded the hardware in my desktop in the last couple of weeks and... no drivers for the motherboard except for Windows 10. Not happy about that. I used to use Linux on the desktop and have been using it continuously on the server so I caved to 10 for now but will be dual booting Linux as I move my workflow over. (Slackware represent FWIW. Though there are many fine distributions for many types of user).
