  1. The 'moving between a 50 degree angle' thing seems like a weak test to me. The ratchet will be an integer division of 360 degrees. That would be the better measurement. Otherwise, a ratchet with 30 degrees and one with 45 degrees (for example) would look the same as they would both move one click within your 50 degrees. In fact a 45 degree ratchet would do it in 8 which would rate better by your standard but would actually be pretty shitty.
